Terms of use
Rules for registration, payment, cancellation and participation in cyphera training and the workspace.
1. Parties and scope
These terms govern the relationship between cyphera, based at Rr. Nexhip Dragaj 81, Mitrovicë 40000, Republic of Kosovo (the "academy"), and:
- participants in children's and teen training, represented by a parent or legal guardian;
- adult participants in professional training;
- members of the coworking space.
By signing the registration form or using the space, you accept these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page.
2. Registration and forming the relationship
The form on the website is a registration request, not a completed registration. Filling it in creates no obligation and requires no payment. After you submit it we contact you within one working day to confirm the group, level and schedule; only then is the form signed and payment begun.
- Registration is complete once the form is signed and the first instalment is paid.
- For persons under 18, registration is completed by the parent or legal guardian, who assumes the financial obligations.
- A place in the group is reserved only after payment is confirmed; requests are handled in order of arrival.
- Groups have a maximum of twelve participants. If a group fills, you are offered the next intake.
- The academy reserves the right not to open a group if the minimum number is not met; in that case the full amount paid is refunded.
3. The placement test
Before starting, the participant takes a short placement test. The result determines the right level and is never used to exclude anyone. If the proposed level is not accepted, registration may be withdrawn with no obligation.
4. Prices and payments

- If the academy cancels a programme, the full unused amount is refunded within 15 days.
- A temporary suspension for health reasons may be granted on written request, for up to one month.
7. Absences and make-up sessions
- Sessions missed by the participant are not refunded and cannot be carried over.
- The session material is made available to the participant or parent.
- A support session is offered to catch up on missed material.
- Sessions cancelled by the academy are rescheduled within the same period or credited to the next instalment.
- In circumstances beyond our control — power cuts, severe weather, health measures — the session is rescheduled.
8. Safety in the lab
Work with equipment follows our safety protocol:
- Equipment is always unplugged during hands-on work.
- The power supply unit is never opened, by anyone.
- Only the instructor makes the final mains connection.
- A second assistant is present during hardware sessions.
- The 3D printer is used only under supervision.
Following the instructor's guidance is mandatory. Breaking safety rules may lead to removal from the session, with no refund for it.
9. Code of conduct
We expect mutual respect. The following are not tolerated:
- Harassment, exclusion or aggressive behaviour towards participants or staff.
- Deliberate damage to equipment or the premises.
- Accessing inappropriate content on academy equipment.
- Sharing academy passwords or accounts with third parties.
- Recording other people without their consent.
The procedure: a verbal warning, then written notice to the parent, and in repeated or serious cases, termination without refund of the remaining time.
10. Equipment and liability for damage
Equipment is the property of the academy. Damage from normal use or technical failure is covered by us. Deliberate damage, or damage arising from ignoring instructions, may be billed to the participant or parent at the cost of repair.
11. Intellectual property
- Work created by the participant belongs to the participant.
- The same applies to work created with the help of AI tools, but note that AI-generated material may not enjoy full copyright protection in some jurisdictions, and the tool provider's terms apply in parallel. For commercial use, always check the tool's licence.
- The academy may display that work for promotion only with separate consent.
- The curriculum, teaching materials, templates and manuals are academy property and may not be copied or redistributed.
- Recording sessions is not permitted without written approval.
12. Use of artificial intelligence tools
- Only academy accounts are used, supervised by the instructor.
- For persons under 18, written parental consent is required.
- Entering personal data into these tools is prohibited.
- Use of AI is not permitted in practical assessments.
- Code the participant does not understand is not accepted in the final project.
13. Certification
A level diploma and programme certificate are issued when these criteria are met:
- at least 80% attendance in the sessions of the period;
- the final project submitted and presented.
Completing all three levels earns a full certificate. A letter of recommendation is issued only against criteria communicated in advance and is not guaranteed.
14. Coworking space rules
- The space is available during working hours: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–21:00.
- Members are responsible for their own equipment.
- The meeting room is booked in advance and billed at €30 for two hours, whatever the membership package.
- The work zone is kept quiet; calls are taken in the designated areas.
- Access is personal and not transferable to third parties.
- Black-and-white and colour printing is allowed, with a number of pages included per package; pages beyond that are billed separately. Scanning is unlimited.
- The half-day trial is free and available once per person.
15. Limitation of liability
The academy is not liable for personal items lost or damaged on its premises. For persons under 18, the academy's responsibility begins on entry and ends when the session is over. The parent is responsible for the child's arrival and departure.
16. Data protection
Personal data is processed under Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data. Full details are in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept them, you may end the relationship without penalty before they come into force.
18. Governing law and dispute resolution
The law of the Republic of Kosovo applies. The parties undertake to resolve any dispute by agreement within 30 days. Failing that, the basic court of the place where the academy is based has jurisdiction.
